Itinerary & highlights

1. Day 1

   Arrival and Lake Manyara

   Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive and game viewing until evening. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2

   Into the Ndutu area

   Drive to the Ndutu area with game viewing en route and a visit to a Maasai village, then an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.

3. Day 3

   Calving grounds

   Full day game drive around Ndutu, following the wildebeest migration route to the great marsh. Overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.

4. Day 4

   Ngorongoro Crater

   Morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater until evening. Overnight at a lodge in Karatu.

5. Day 5

   Lake Eyasi

   Depart for a tour of Lake Eyasi and visit the Bushmen tribes, the Datoga and Hadzabe, to learn their hunting culture.
