Itinerary & highlights

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Arusha

   Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer privately to Arusha, with a short evening panoramic tour. Overnight at a hotel, half board.

2. Day 2

   Wildlife sanctuary and Arusha National Park

   After breakfast, drive to a wildlife sanctuary to interact with and feed trained wild animals, followed by lunch. Afternoon game drive in Arusha National Park. Overnight at a hotel, full board.

3. Day 3

   Tarangire to Karatu

   Breakfast, then drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives; the park is known for its large elephant herds along the Tarangire River. Drive to a lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4

   Ngorongoro Crater

   After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Ascend in the late afternoon and overnight at the lodge.

5. Day 5

   Lake Eyasi and departure

   Early morning drive to Lake Eyasi to visit the Bushmen tribes, the Datoga and Hadzabe, and learn their hunting culture with bow and arrow. Drive back to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
