Itinerary & highlights

1. Day 1

   Arrival and Arusha National Park

   Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and tour Arusha National Park until evening. Overnight at a hotel.

2. Day 2

   Lake Manyara to Karatu

   Drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive and game viewing until evening, then drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3

   Into the Ndutu area

   Drive to the Ndutu area, visiting a Maasai village en route, with an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.

4. Day 4

   Calving grounds

   Full day game drive around Ndutu following the wildebeest migration route to the great marsh. Overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.

5. Day 5

   Central Serengeti

   Drive to central Serengeti for a full day game drive until evening. Overnight at a Serengeti tented camp.

6. Day 6

   Ngorongoro Crater

   Morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater until evening. Overnight at a lodge.

7. Day 7

   Lake Eyasi

   Tour of Lake Eyasi and a visit to the Bushmen tribes, the Datoga and Hadzabe, to learn their hunting culture.
