Itinerary & highlights

1. Day 1

   Arrival and Arusha National Park

   Meet on arrival and drive to Arusha National Park for a game drive. Overnight at a hotel, full board.

2. Day 2

   Tarangire to Karatu

   Drive to Tarangire for a game drive until late noon, then drive to Karatu for overnight.

3. Day 3

   Into the Serengeti

   Drive to the Serengeti, stopping to visit a Maasai village and enjoy a traditional Maasai dance. Overnight at a Serengeti camp.

4. Day 4

   Serengeti in full

   A full day exploring the Serengeti. Meals and overnight at the Serengeti camp.

5. Day 5

   Ngorongoro Crater

   Drive to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for a game drive and crater tour. Ascend in the evening and overnight at a lodge.

6. Day 6

   Bushmen culture

   Morning visit to the Bushmen tribe to learn about their culture, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

7. Day 7

   Lake Manyara and Bushmen

   Morning game drive in Lake Manyara and a morning visit to the Bushmen tribe, with lunch back at the lodge.

8. Day 8

   Meru forest and departure

   Tour of the Meru forest, visiting waterfalls and local communities, then transfer to the airport for departure.
