Overview

Our longest migration itinerary. Two nights on the Mara River in the north, a night in central Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, a cultural day at Lake Eyasi and two days in Tarangire to finish.

Itinerary & highlights

Day 1
Arrival and Arusha National Park
Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to Arusha National Park for a game drive until evening. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 2
Fly to Kogatende
Transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Kogatende and safari in the North Serengeti on arrival. Overnight at a migration camp.
Day 3
Mara River
Full day game drive in the North Serengeti following the wildebeest migration at the Mara River. Overnight at the migration camp.
Day 4
South to central Serengeti
Game drive towards central Serengeti with an afternoon game drive. Overnight at a Serengeti tented camp.
Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Drive to Ngorongoro via a Maasai village and game drive in the crater until evening. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 6
Lake Eyasi
Morning drive to Lake Eyasi to visit the Bushmen tribes, the Datoga and Hadzabe, and learn their hunting culture. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 7
Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive and game viewing until evening. Overnight at a Tarangire lodge.
Day 8
Tarangire and departure
Morning in Tarangire, then transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
